These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) set out the agreement between JV Property Maintenance (“we”, “our”, “us”) and our customers (“you”, “your”) when you engage our property maintenance services. By booking or using our services, you agree to these Terms.

1. Services Provided

JV Property Maintenance offers property maintenance services as agreed at the time of booking or quoting. We will provide these services with reasonable care, skill and diligence in accordance with industry standards.

2. Quotes & Pricing

All quotes are valid for 30 days unless otherwise stated. Prices may vary if additional work is required that was not included in the original quote. Any changes will be discussed and agreed upon before work proceeds.

3. Bookings & Cancellations

Bookings must be made in advance. If you need to cancel or reschedule, please provide at least 24 hours’ notice. Cancellations with less than 24 hours’ notice will incur a 40% cancellation fee to cover lost time and expenses.

4. Payment Terms

Payment is required upon completion of the service unless otherwise agreed in writing. We accept payment by cash & bank transfer. Late payments may incur interest charges or recovery costs.

5. Access to Property

You must ensure we have safe and reasonable access to the property at the agreed time. If we are unable to carry out work due to lack of access, a call-out fee may apply.

6. Health & Safety

We adhere to all relevant health and safety laws. You agree to inform us of any hazards at your property before work begins. We reserve the right to refuse or stop work if conditions are unsafe.

7. Liability

While we take care to protect your property, JV Property Maintenance is not liable for pre-existing damage or issues. To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for any indirect, incidental or consequential losses arising from our services.

8. Warranty

We stand by the quality of our work. If you are not satisfied, please contact us within 7 days so we can address the issue. Any warranty provided is limited to the work performed and does not cover normal wear and tear, misuse or work carried out by others after completion.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Any changes will be posted on our website or provided to you directly before they take effect.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia, and any disputes will be handled in Victorian courts.
